A Helping Hand Auto has been serving the Fayetteville, GA community since 1999 and is your premier auto repair shop.

We specialize in automotive services and maintenance, including air conditioner service and interior and exterior detailing.

A Helping Hand Automotive has been serving the Fayetteville, GA community since 1999 and is your premier auto repair shop. We specialize in auto repair and maintenance, auto air conditioning services as well as auto interior and exterior detailing.

We are a locally owned and operated business that prides itself on providing exceptional customer service. We want all of our customers to feel like they can trust us, because we genuinely care about them and their needs. When you come to us with a problem or concern, we want you to know that we will do whatever it takes to make sure your vehicle is running properly again quickly, safely, and affordably. I brought my car in with the check engine light on and James was very helpful. He checked the car and told me what was wrong. He gave me the price to fix it and give it an oil change. I told him I couldn't afford to do that at that time because I was on a fixed income. He was very understanding and helped me to fix my car and helped me with a payment arrangement I could afford. I have been a long time customer of AHHA. James, Brim and Corey have always taken care of my vehicles. They are not too expensive and will tell you what you need to know not what you want to hear. Sometimes the information will sting but better to know now than drive down the street and something breaks. Having said that, let me tell you about yesterday the 23rd of January 2025. I was on my way to get my tires rotated and I noticed the temp gauge moving around. This has never happened before and I immediately went in to panic mode. What the heck is wrong with my suv???? I decided to go keep going to the Discount Tires because I knew I had a nail in the tire and I have free tire rotation, balance and repair there. Once done I called James and told him what was going on and that I was on my way. It’s close to 5 pm when I get there and I know they are closing. James and Brim are out delivering a customers car but Corey is there. Corey pulls the truck in and does a quick look, touches a couple of hoses and says, “Your thermostat has gone bad in the closed position” and then tells me to reach in and touch the hose that holds the thermostat housing. It is ICE cold!!! I said well sh!! guess I gotta leave it. I need one of you to take me home please. He says, “We can get it done right now if you want to wait”. Corey ordered the part and about that time James and Brim return. Brim jacks the car up, pulls the thermostat housing off and looks at the thermostat, says, “Look Sean. It’s closed.” The part shows up about 20 minutes later. Brim replaces it and pressurizes the cooling system before adding new coolant in. All in I was there about an hour and the truck is running just fine! If you are looking for someone to work on your vehicles take it here. They know what they are doing and will get it done as fast as possible. Keep in mind that sometimes the parts are unavailable so that could be a delay BUT they will do their level best to get your car back to you asap.

A Helping Hand Automotive is always up to date on the many changes and challenges that the automotive industry creates. When I went to the shop and saw a new face, rather than James himself, I was a bit concerned. But after just a few minutes of talking with JP, I knew that James had made a good choice for manager. For years I had performed as much of the maintenance on my cars as I could, it was difficult to hand the wrench over to just anyone. But my time for sliding under the cars, and learning everything I could has passed. At this shop, the name says it all. They will help you, not pressure you when work needs to be done. I will not very likely try any other service provider. I recently learned I could even buy my tires at this facility. When I compared prices, it was plain that A Helping Hand wins in that service also. The mechanics have kept my Porsche running smoothly for over ten years. I would not consider taking my 5.0 Mustang GT, or my wife's Honda CRV anywhere else.

I had car work done here dealing with radiator replacement , everything worked out swell. They sent pictures showing how they took everything apart to replaced the radiator . I was called the next business day to come pick up my car and I was very happy with the work. I would recommend this business to family and friends.
